I ran the NVIDIA installer and tried to install the latest version of the 260m series card, and it uninstalled my card without installing the new version. I didn't even check clean install!
Now, I don't have a backup or anything that I can go back to, and my old graphics card is gone! I've been searching for a fix for ~6 hours, and I can't find anything.
Every time I run the Nvidia installer it fails at about 10%, I've even tried reinstalling my old driver's version and it won't work!
I do not have my windows CDs, so that isn't an option...
I also tried installing the driver from scratch from the ASUS website, it just said that it was successful then nothing happened, my graphics are still as bad as they were before it was "successful".

Also when I go to check what my display specs are below system information, it's blank, so there's nothing there.

Open Question: What setup and language should i learn?
I am new to sebsite development. and i am planning to go to dynamic websites. more of like web sites carrying databases. i.e hospital lists, phone directory etc.
things that i can have a form and enter data and show a list and or summary.
there are a lot of languages php, asp, etc. what i need to know is what is easiest to learn and easiest to setup.
can you also give me a good setup.
i have workstations using windows 7 and every of them are networked together, i can make on as webserver but i need to know if i have to make it linux or just windows. i need a setup where in i can access the server and do work on any of the workstation.

Open Question: SD Card Wii Homebrew Help?
Ok so I'm on the Letterbomb setup Wiki and it says 1.On Computer: Rename "private" folder to "privateold" on your SD card.
2.On Computer: Copy the "private" directory from the LetterBomb download to the root of your SD card.
I sorta deleted the private folders and every the other folders on my SD Card (I know stupid move).My SD Card is a SDHC FAT32 4Gigs.Is there anyway I can receive the private folders back on my SD Card and WinRAR?

Open Question: Windows 7 keeps crashing while trying to go into safe mode, I need help please?
Ok here is my situation and I appreciate ANY help I can receive. A few days ago while turning on my laptop I realized that a screen came up that read: Windows failed to start.A recent hardware or software change might be the cause
I have two options, one is to Launch Startup Repair (recommended)
Or..'Start Windows Normally'
I've tried numerous times to select both but while it's loading it just crashes and restarts taking me back to the same blackscreen with the message 'Windows failed to start....'
I then tried tapping F8 and that takes me to the Advanced Boot Options screen. I have a few options that read:
Repair Your Computer
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Enable Boot Logging
Enable low-resolution video
Last known Good Configuration (advanced)
Directory Services Restore Mode
Debugging Mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure
DIsable Driver signature Enforcement
Start Windows Normally
I've tried selecting 'Safe Mode' and it goes to the next screen showing drivers loading and a message at the bottom saying 'please wait' but after about a minute of seeing that screen, it just crashes and then restarts. The problem is I do not have the installation disk for my laptop. What options do I have? Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank You.

Open Question: Audiobook problem on iPhone 4s?
I have looked and can't seem to find a solution to my problem short of wiping my phone completely with a restore (which I would imagine would fix the problem).
I am running IOS 5.1.1 on my phone and ITUNES 10.6.1.7 on my Windows computer.
Most of my audiobooks are ripped from disks and then I use a program to convert them into M4B files.
I have a few audiobooks that I had listened to a while back and after I finished, I unchecked them in iTunes to remove them. I recently went to hear to one of the other books I had on my phone and noticed those other 3 were still on my phone. I double-checked and I did not have them selected to sync in my iTunes sync options. Not only that, but when I look at the tug down menu from itunes for my phone, it does not even show those files are on there, yet I can look them in the music app below audiobooks and they play normally. I then tried to go into settings, general, usage, and tried to look if maybe I could delete it from there since I had been unsuccessful with itunes, and once again, it's as if the files are not even on my phone according to the directory. I next hooked my phone back up and in itunes, unchecked the box for syncing audiobooks. It removed every other book except the ones that I don't even show that I have on my phone. I also tried to resync the books and then unsync them, but that didn't work. I also deleted those books from my itunes directory and that didn't change anything either.
I am at a loss on how to delete a file that doesn't seem to exist except on my phone but since I can't swipe to delete, I don't know what else to try.

I have recently got back in touch with family in Canada, I was give my aunts home number so I could talk to her. The problem is I'm x-directory calling from Scotland and she has bell Canada call block and when it asks for your 10 digit telephone number it wont accept my number, as without country dialing my home number is 11 digits with area code and 7 without.

Open Question: Will the HTC Desire play these?
I'm not looking for a converter until I receive the answer to my next questions.
I have tons of movies in .mp4 format.
But because they were for playback on my computer and it's high definition screen, of course, I would download better quality ones consisting of a resolution higher then the Desire's 480 x 800 playback resolution.
If I were to place a movie on this phone without converting to the lower resolution, would the video re-seize itself and play in a smaller resolution like most devices? Or just render itself useless on the phone?
And, what directory do the movies have to be placed in?

SEO - My backlinks are not showing up and I do not know why. I built my first niche website and started backlinking the website 1-3 times a day around March 1st 2012. My backlinks were to every the popular article directories and a lot of blogs like wordpress and blogger. In total it was around 50 backlinks. It has been two months and I cannot find any of them on ahrefs, Majestic SEO, Open Site Explorer, and Market Samurai. I also did the social bookmarking after they were posted. I know some will just never show up and some take awhile to show up but every OF THEM? AND AFTER TWO MONTHS?? I have been using the http://website.com/ format for the backlink if that matters. What are those things called INSIDE theaters over the doors of the rooms where the film is playing, and they have the name of the film playing on them? I used to know but I can't remember!

Open Question: What in the world happened to my Hard drive?
this problem is a weird one. i will try to explain it the best i can. this is an external difficult steer that i use for storage. i used to have a Mac and i used this steer for time machine as well as external storage. so i had two partitions on it. one NTFS, and one FAT for time machine. i sold My Mac for a windows workstation. so i formatted the entire difficult steer to a single NTFS partition. this was 3 to 4 years ago. this steer has been reformatted probably 4 times since. ok so now i receive a New Laptop. i install Linux on it. Ubuntu to be specific. NTFS still works fin ubuntu but its not optimized for it. but since i use windows and LInux and i have some very big files i decided to stay with NTFS. after a wile my steer started acting odd. for example, i would try to rename a folder on the steer and it would change. but the next time i open that same steer the folder name has reverted back to what it was before. after a getting frustrated i decided to go ahead and Format it using Ubuntu Disk Utility. i formatted the entire steer. not just the volume. so the MBR too. since the steer was acting so odd i wanted to be sure every part of it was like it should be. here is where things receive weird. after erasing the entire disk included the MBR. when i created a new MBR and NTFS volume on the steer everything seems fine. so i copy every my data back over to it. after the data was copied i then discover that items within certian folders that i have deleted years ago wile on my mac have suddenly reappeared. every mixed in with my good current data. none of these files open. but the icons and directories for them are every there now. how the heck dose this happen? this steer has been formatted multiple times even went as far a rewriting the MBR. i don't understand how something like this could happen. back when i owned the mac when i formatted it to use with my windows machine i selected wipe entire disk by writing zeros over the existing data. i did every that. so why are these files magically reappearing on this steer when they were deleted 3 years ago. this dive has been formatted probably 4 times since then. this is a whole computer as well. i have gone through 2 other computers since then. i just don't understand how this can happen. i was hoping somebody could explain this to me. i was thinking when i formatted the MBR maybe the new partition table that was created was almost the same as a partition table from the past. and some of the old directories from the partition map are being read. dose that make since? that is the only logical thing i can think of. well semi logical. i had to go through the steer and manually delete every these old non functioning directories one by one. it took 3 hours. :-( after this happened i made a copy of every the good data onto another steer. then tried to run DBAN ( deriks boot and nuke ) on the steer in question but its a USB difficult steer. i couldn't receive DBAN to look the steer. i figured since DBAN writes a series of zeros over the entire steer including the MBR this could help prevent this from happening again in the future. i might take apart the USB case and remove the difficult steer from it. stick it in my computer just long enough to run DBAN on it. i'm not sure its work every the effort though. anyways can somebody explain to me how or why this could even happen? i have never seen something like this before. its making my brain hurt. LOL! Sorry for how long this was. but i didn't know how else to explain it. :-)

Open Question: kits dont save in cm12?
so i have fifa 12 and creation master 12 beta 6 , so i download kits for example euro 12 kits for spain , and i import the png file replacing them from the original ones in fifa 12 , i click keep and go in game and they not avalible (btw when i open cm12 it gives me mistake 10004 that it cant find my fifa 12 directory so have to do it manually) so if u have any suggestions please answer me thanks.

Resolved Question: Studio Fan Mail feedback line?
I asked by email for a Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox & David Schwimmer photo from studio fan mail and I got Lisa Kudrow's and Jennifer Garner's? I didn't order Jennifer Garner's. I decided to give it to one of my friends and I just want to give feedback to studio fan mail and it took a very long time to recieve the photos and they gave me the wrong one. Whatabummer. The others haven't arrived yet and I don't know what was I supposed to receive instead of Jennifer Garner. I want the feedback number so I can tell them to make sure it doesn't happen again next time. I've tried a phone number using directory assistance but it didn't work.
I left Jennifer Aniston out because I already got her photo earlier... I actually got 2 of hers... she is my fav actress I would never forget she's in Friends.

Open Question: Needing help finishing my Apache Server.?
I have looked through every of the forums that I could find relevant to this question and my problem yet nothing works. I have apache2.2 with php5, myphpadmin, and mysql. I have uncommented the extension, I have checked my phpinfo() and mysqli does not arrive up. My config directory is where it should be and it still will not load. I don't know what else I could be missing so hopefully someone can help!

Open Question: I think I accidently deleted ROOT folder?
Started using Joomla today... think I made some sort of mistake. My homepage eqona.com is showing a INDEX OF with directories. If you click the JOOMLA directory, you can access my page. But with that, comes a eqona.com/joomla < --- (I don't want the /Joomla) I want visitors to look my homepage when they put in my domain without Joomla. Any ideas? Thank you.

Open Question: How do you find the saved game directory on a Black box Sniper Elite V2 PC?

But it won't work for me at every

It gives me a message sort of like

If you have read my other posts you can probably look I am having trouble putting an image on localhost.
I think this may be the problem...... I am using notepad++ with this at the top in the dark blue:
C:\xampp\htdocs\hello.php - Notepad++
In notepad++ I am on a tab called hello.php. This is my question, when you make the directory with the image in it, does it have to be the same name as the tab your using in notepad++ ie hello.php. Or does it have to be index.html in which case I will have to change the name of the tab I am using on notepad++.

I think this is what I was asking. Was the tab I was coding on in notepad++ supposed to be named index.html? Is that why the image I wanted to use could never be found because the tab was caled hello.php. Thank you
The horse.jpeg image I want to display on localhost is in a file called Image Test on my Desktop.
The Notepad++ screen I am using is below the title hello.php, and the tab is hello.php as well.
so I am assuming that the names were mismatched that is why I couldn't receive the image and why I got the broken link symbol.

Open Question: Change start menu power button in windows 7?
I want to be able to put my computer to snooze from the start menu.
The current action is log out and if I expand it I only have lock and disconnect available. I tried ctrl+alt+delete and the power button in the bottom right corner is there and has every the options available (snooze, hibernate, restart, close down) but when I click snooze the only thing that happens is I return to my desktop.
When I right click on the start menu power button and go to properties it has a drop down list for the action but it's grayed out, so I can't use it. I went to gpedit.msc and selected user config->start menu and taskbar->remove and prevent access to the shutdown, restart, snooze, hibernate commands and disabled it. I also set change start menu power button (in the same directory) to disabled. no change.
What do I do here? I'm at the end of my knowledge and I want my computer to go to snooze so I can too. I just moved and my fans and led's are obnoxious at the moment.
I used to have it set to snooze, I have no idea why it changed

Open Question: help with links in adobe flash pro CS5?
So I have to create a website for coursework at college. I'm trying to have an animated menu in Adobe Flash Professional CS5. The problem I'm having is that I create links in the menu, that are linked to web pages I have made in Dreamweaver, on my memory stick. However I then have to transfer these to the college server to be marked but when this happens the web pages directory is changed and so the links no longer work on the menu. Is there any code that can be used to receive Flash to just look in its parent folder for the web page as this doesn't change just the steer name.

I have made many attempts to upload one of my possess pics on to localhost, unsuccessfully.
I am using Notepad++, Xampp, Windows XP, Google Crome.
I am aware that you have to put the image file in the same directory as the index.html file.
I have tried putting the image I want to use in the html folder, php.folder. www.folder, and on the Desktop as an Image-Test Folder. I have tried jpeg, gif and php. I have tried lots of variations to no avail.

Open Question: External Hard Drive help needed...Mac?
I have a 500GB external difficult steer with two partitions for my MacBook Pro. One partition for my Time Machine backups and the other just for random things.
Today, I ran Disk Utility on the Time Machine partition and it can up with an mistake of "Invalid Sibling Link". I fixed this through Disk Warrior (it made a brand new directory).
Now, I ran Disk Utility again on the Time Machine partition. Now it shows an "Invalid Key Length" mistake. It says that it can't fix it. Also, Disk Warrior can't make a graph for the Time Machine partition anymore. Does anyone know what is wrong?
Does anyone know any programs that could fix the "Invalid Key Length"?
Also, if I erase the data from the Time Machine partition, would it fix the "Key Length" problem?
Is there any program that will allow me to copy the entire Time Machine partition onto the other partition?

Resolved Question: How can i run a program from root directory when sudo isn't enough in ubuntu?
I downloaded the firekit from XDA which allows me to fix my kindle. I know ubuntu fairly well so i got the fk.class program, the one that launches the program, into the root directory and I did sudo -s and got root terminal, then typed /root/fk and it said permission denied. Since there is no permission rank greater than root, i have no idea how permission is denied. any help on this is appreciated, thanks every!

Open Question: The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration.?
I have looked through every of the forums that I could find relevant to this question and my problem yet nothing works. I have apache2.2 with php5, myphpadmin, and mysql. I have uncommented the extension, I have checked my phpinfo() and mysqli does not arrive up. My config directory is where it should be and it still will not load. I don't know what else I could be missing so hopefully someone can help!

Open Question: Cant log in to OS X MacBook Pro 8,2?
I was getting ready to install Ubuntu on a third partition on my MacBook - to receive everything every set up, I installed rEFIt (I know, it's not supported anymore).
After rebooting twice to look if it would work, it didn't. I wasn't getting any problems, but it simply didn't load - that's when I found out it's not supported on 8,1 and higher MacBooks.
I rebooted a third time, and that's when the problems arose. I can receive to my login screen and type in my password, but when I hit enter it just redirects me to the login screen again.
I already removed the EFI folder from the root directory using single user login, as that's supposed to fix rEFIt-related EFI problems, but it didn't fix anything.
I'm going insane trying to fix this... I also had a Windows 8 Boot Camp partition - that's no longer showing up when I hold ALT during boot either... It makes no sense whatsoever.
I know I'm stupid for not backing up, but the disk isn't actually damaged; in the terminal, every my files are still there and the disk verifies as perfectly in tact.
Can anyone help me out at every? Thanks...

Open Question: wineskin winery playing old game?
I installed an old game- moto racer 1.0 through wineskin on my mac. When I try to start it up it gives me an mistake message which says "16 bit screen mode required!"
I know what i have to do I just don't know how to do it... I can't find any settings for that in the wineskin winery application... I can only change virtual screen resolution... Is there anyway in wineskin to change this so I can play this game? Or is it possible to change my mac screen mode to 16 bit? I have an early 2009 model iMac, 20".
Also on the wineskin HQ database people have succeeded in playing this game and they wrote comments on how to make the settings so the game runs, but i can't find every the settings to follow in wineskin.

Open Question: Acrobat 8 Program and Preferences?
I need to change the location of the files in Acrobat 8 so that it can remember my last naming titles, this way I don't have to re-type the file names (which in my case are the same most of the time). I was told previously by Yahoo members to open Acrobat 8, Edit, Preferences and change the directory. I do not look any directory when I follow these steps. Where is the directory? or what do I do wrong?
