Open Question: Portal 2 developer tools error message?
Just to clarify, I can open the actual developer tools just fine, but not the Hammer World Editor.
Whenever I try to open the map editor in the portal 2 developer tools I receive an mistake message looking like this:
Setup File 'GameInfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2'.
Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.
I store my Steam games on an external steer, so I guess the question would be 'How can I change the directory Steam thinks the tools need to run?'

Open Question: Purchased CD (Paint Shop Pro X4) program to portable program?
Ok here's the situation, I was thinking about purchasing Paint store Pro X4 from Best Buy. However I wanted to know if there was a way to make it portable for personal use.
I attend a university where the graphic design classes are Adobe program based (I've just been using Corel/PSP and am much more familiar with the general setup of it). There's numerous computer labs to use, but software cannot be installed (except by the admin). However, portable programs work just fine via flash steer. I just have some personal projects I'd like to work on and my breaks between classes would be useful for that.
So, is this possible to do? Or would just copying over the entire installed directory to a flash steer essentially create a portable version?

Open Question: Old Treehouse Show? C'mmon easy 10!?
Ok so this has been bugging me for the longest time. I remember watching this show as a kid from the tardy '90s into early '00s around the Crazy Quilt time. And basically it was live action you can say, with kids singing and I guess runnin around places. I always remember there was one boy who wore a strawberry cap that sat on a seat I think in front of some monitors or something and he'd sing as well.
Pleaseee I like beg of you if you know what I'm talkin about tell mee!!
Also I remeber watching this show a few times around '03/4 I think about a monster living in a blue home with some other creatures, no this is not bear in the big blue home I'm thinking of. Oh and also a cartoon of jelly people, every diff colors with diff attitudes. Two girls were orange and pink it was a short I think airing in early 2000's. And there was a cartoon about rabbits, around the same time. 30min, 2 eps in each. Mm I can only really describe the art I guess, it was kinda sketchy, neutral colors. I mainly remeber something about one rabbit being taken by a person I think and he tried returning home. Also those rabbits ate soup often or something.
Do not suggest me to go look through the tree home directory, I already have. If you can tell me any of them pleaseee tell me!!

I recently uninstall my google chrome because of my frequent shockwave accident.But then again when I tried to reinstall it says,"Installation failed. The google chrome failed to start" Show me help for this issue:

Hi,
I am facing a problem with my OS. Ubuntu is not showing up, while booting I receive a black screen with this message

So, when i go to www.runescape.com whether i type it in google,bing or as a url, or i use mozilla firefox, internet explorer or google chrome, it takes me to http://runescape.com/m=weblogin/web/title.html. Then when i go to play, it takes me to http://runescape.com/m=weblogin/game.php?j=1.
Whenever i go to something else on the site such as highscores, forums, or whatever, it gives a blank browser saying "Server mistake

I have tried the download client which supposedly doesn't need java but i receive an mistake on the desktop client saying " There was an mistake loading the game configuration from the website. If you have a firewall, check that this program is allowed to access the Internet"
I have checked to make sure that my firewall allows access to the internet. I downloaded the client from runescape.com.
I don't know what to do, any suggestions to fixing this?

Open Question: Please help!! Not able to open my uploaded file from server.?
I am hosting a website on Tomcat server. The application uses Struts 1.1 and Spring for every its operations. I have a page that is used for uploading files to the server.
When user uploads any file it is successfully uploaded but gives a 404 mistake when tried to retrieve. I checked the file using SSH login, the uploaded file is gift in that location. I am scratching my head over this problem from past 4 days but no solution. Its works properly without any problems in my local machine. The problem in there in the deployment...:(:(
An Important note: From SSH login, If i try to move that file to some other location and then place it back to its original location, i am able to retrieve the file..!!! I don't know why but I can't do this for every file uploaded by the user. So i modified the my code so that the file is uploaded to a temp location first and then moving it to the correct location. But even this is not working.!

Open Question: how to remove corrupted files and folders from a seed box (server)?
I recently buy a seed box to download non-copyrighted free stuff from mininowa. (so yahoo answers can leave this question without delete) I use filezilla to manage my files and unfortunately two folders corrupted by my hand :S. both folders are empty. but I can't access to them or do anything to them like add files, delete. This mistake message showed up,

Open Question: How do I Install a Second SSD for computer?
Hello, I recently ran out of room on my 60gb OCZ Agility 3 sata III SSD and was looking to add an additional SSD but i have no prior knowledge of how to do this, Ive read that you can just set it up as a second steer or even combine with Raid, I really don't care, whichever is simpler, because I already have windows installed along side programs, games and am not looking to have to wipe it clean, I'm not really sure, anyways when I install the second ssd will my computer recognize it once its plugged in or do i have to go into the bios and set it up?, Do the ssd drives have to be the same? is their any benefit to combining them? when I install future games will i simply be able to pick the second steer as the install directory or will windows still automatically install programs and software to my first ssd, the c:steer, my motherboard is a gigabyte GA-970A-D3 AM3+ Crossfire usb3.0 Sata 3 incase that helps, any feedback is greatly appreciated thnx.

Open Question: Company Of Heroes Update failure.?
Okay, Well.
I possess the original version of Company Of Heroes. Not the Expansion's - But anyhow i reformatted my computer.((Reinstalled CoH)) When i first tryed to play a Patch screen poped up saying 'an update for 105MBs is needed' or something like that. Then i accept - it trys to connect a screen pops up saying he couldnt please try again later. Then iv tried the manual patches from CoH website and installed up in the correct order only 3rd or 4th patch into patching it tells me 'Could not determine company of heroes installation directory from the windows registry, please try again later' or like Says i dont have CoH on my computer. I'v installed and uninstalled + deleted any old folders. and turned off my 'windows firewall' i dont have anything else and i 'ran as admin' and still no luck.
Any idea's?

Open Question: Help trying to relive my childhood?!?
I'm trying to play backyard football on my pc. When I put the disk in the initial play screen comes up. I click play, and it begins to run the set-up. But nothing else happens after the set up screen disappears. I went to the computer file and clicked on the set-up option and tried to run it from there. Open Question: how do you change an update installation directory?
okay so i got sims 3 and i have a new update and apparently i have no disk space cause i think the updater is installed in the disk C, which has only like 1 gb and disk D has the sims which has like 30 gb left.
so my question is how do you change the directory so i can update it ? xD

Open Question: What are the chances of me ever becoming a computer technician?
I've been studying over the past couple of years and really want a career as a technician, but today I installed Windows Server R2 2008 and I cannot receive to grips with it. I know some theory behind it... what the Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Server Roles & Features, network settings every are and the general idea behind them, but its getting them every to tie in together. I've made this computer a domain controller and given it a static IP address but when I go to connect a computer to the domain it states that the active directory DC cannot be contacted. Are these normal (teething) problems to be expected or am I going to have great difficulty?

Open Question: Hulu on XBMC plug in problem?
I've downloaded XBMC on my net book and am trying to set it up to stream hulu. I downloaded and installed a add on for hulu but when I try to load hulu it says in the bottom right corner "working" then it begins to load the directory. I fails to load any items then says script failed in the bottom right corner of the screen. Anyone know how to fix this?

i tried anti-virus on it, but it says there's not virus or anything (i've done it on a file before, and it got rid of that one)

Open Question: I Keep getting this error on Steam Steam.exe (main exception): CMultiFieldBlob(pSerialized) How do I fix it?
Guys I keep getting the over mistake when I try to open Steam. I looked on the steam support and they said I had to Navigate to my Steam installation directory. Then I had to delete everything in that directory EXCEPT the following:
steam.exe
steamapps directory (every of Steam's game files are kept here.)
Ok what I don't receive is How do I receive to the Steam Installation Directory?! I can't find it Can someone Please PLEASE help me? Thanks

okay, so i met my pal Stuart online and we talked for maybe 3 months he was a really good pal and we web cam and IM'ed every day. but i had got a boyfriend a really stopped talking to Stuart and it wasn't like texting him it was on a instant message service. and i recently got on the app a few days ago and i had a message from July 24th saying he doesn't know what he did but he hopes i have a good life and that he loved me., i tried to message him back but it says his phone was disconnected and i have NO idea how i would receive a hold of him again, any suggestions? he lives in Glasgow,Scotland. I've tried EVERYTHING. please help ive tried online phone books, ive paid for online directory's nothing has worked. his last name is Gallacher. if any one out there knows him.

Open Question: How can huge game developers fail in simple things?
Like Civilization 5 keep game system and managing them. While every the directory tree is shown you cannot actually delete or rename saved games or add new folders.
It is unexplainable to me how, after such a HUGE work they can fail on so simple design?
IMPORTANT EDIT! I meant CIV 4, i have no CIV 5 yet i wish they eliminated this utter nonsens...

Open Question: Does formatting a USB flash drive completely remove viruses?
Can a complete format wipe the USB flash steer to the extent that there is no remaining threat to your computer?

I have a file on my USB disk steer and can not be able to delete it. When I tried to delete it there is a windows appeared and said "mistake Deleting File or Folder can not delete....:The file names, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect".
